  1) Type up your feedback/comments from your teacher. Good range of shots and generally correct labelling (tricky to say what a medium shot is with a small bird!) In terms of theme/content I would probably have stuck with either animals or a person than both Where was the close-up of a cow!?! Some cameras movement or focus a little off in terms of technical skills for the future. 2) Type up your feedback from fellow students. Wide shot and slow pan were perfect The focus and the end were a bit out of focus and too rushed.  3) Now reflect on your work and write your own summary of the comments and feedback you have received.   1) Write an analysis of the cinematography in the opening sequence.  Highlight  your use of media language and try to cover camera shots, angles and movement using the terminology we have learned in lessons.  The Fugitive - Opening Credits - YouTube   From 0:45 - 3:41 Starts off with a long crane shot to establish the setting and where the story is being placed. Lots of uses of medium close-up, close-ups and extreme close up to show the two characters at the start who are having a struggle to capture their facial expressions and the distress the women is in. There is a medium shot of the police truck with a pan movement to show where it is heading which then also shows a long shot of the other police officers, vehicles and people. The use of the music is contrapuntal as it has a slow, peaceful and sombre tune, whilst having a torture scene. It creates an unsettling feeling for the audience .   1) Type up your feedback from your teacher. Superb - you can tell from the audience reaction just how effective it is. Excellent choice of images. Music is perfect for the brief, and it is genuinely funny. Several bits of opening section edited in time with music - very effective technically. Very much feels like a production for the Tik Tok generation!      2) Type up your feedback from fellow students - you can summarise key points if several students give you similar feedback. WWW - Amazing timing, editing, music choice. EBI - Make the clip size bigger.  3) Now  reflect  on your work and write your own evaluation of your video. WWW: You’ve made an excellent start to A Level Media on the coursework side – well done! It really comes across strongly that you’ve studied the subject before and picked up a lot from the GCSE in Media (the use of media theory in both your analytical tasks is so good to see!) Your mise-en-scene recreation was excellent and shows that you have the interesting cross-section of skills required for this course – both practical and analytical. EBI: You just need to post your learner response to the recreation and your blog will be fully up to date. In terms of your analytical work, it’s great to see media theory but also make sure you are exploring the potential meanings in all the different aspects of a text. When using CLAMPS, for example, you may want to focus in on just two or three of the areas but really write in detail about the meanings created.
